Ford EVs
The Future Is Now
The electric era is here, and Ford is in the midst of implementing an ambitious, comprehensive plan to make the transition to an electric lifestyle – or commercial fleet, for that matter – easy.
Ford is investing more than $50 billion in electric vehicles globally through 2026 to develop breakthrough EVs. The company plans to manufacture them at scale at a run rate of 600,000 electric vehicles globally by late 2024 and 2 million by 2026. Ford, as of summer 2022, had already secured 100% of the annual battery cell capacity needed to support the 2024 target and 70% needed to support the 2026 target.

Why Choose an EV?
FUEL COST
A 2020 Consumer Reports study similarly showed that EV drivers tend to spend about 60 percent less each year on fuel costs compared to drivers of gas-powered cars.
LESS MAINTENANCE
Electric vehicles have fewer moving parts, which potentially lowers scheduled maintenance costs. vs average scheduled maintenance for a comparable gas-powered vehicle.
FUEL CONSUMPTION
Depending on how they are driven, today’s light-duty all-electric vehicles (or PHEVs in electric mode) can exceed 130 MPGe and can drive 100 miles consuming only 25–40 kWh.

Road Trip With NACS
Ford and Tesla have recently announced a strategic partnership that will provide Ford electric vehicle owners with access to the expansive and reliable charging network of Tesla. This includes their North American Charging Standard (NACS) system, which is designed to make it easier for drivers to find compatible chargers in any location. The NACS system also provides an efficient way for EV owners to charge their vehicles quickly and safely, making long-distance travel more accessible than ever before. With this new partnership, Ford hopes to increase its presence in the growing electric vehicle market by providing customers with a comprehensive charging solution.
