Drivers, Start Your Engines: Car d’Lane 2024 Is Almost Here!
Coeur d’Alene’s favorite Father’s Day Weekend event, Car d’Lane, will be here before you know it, so make plans now to attend Car d’Lane on June 14th and 15th with Dad!
Sponsored by Mike White Ford and other local businesses, Car d’Lane is the Inland Northwest’s premier classic car show, held in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Festivities start on Friday evening at 6:00 pm with a parade of classic cars as they cruise down Sherman Avenue. If you own a classic car (1980 and older) and want to join the cruise, register now to be part of the show!
For the rest of you who would rather gawk at the spectacle, grab a lawn chair, head downtown early, and claim your spot along the cruise route so you can relax and enjoy a real car lover’s treat.
On Saturday, the fun continues with an all-day car show that starts at 8:00 am and runs until 4:00. The show is free to spectators and will give you a chance to get an up-close look at some of the beauties on display and even engage in chats with the owners. For the show segment of the weekend, additional vehicle categories are on display, including classic motorcycles, special interest cars, and young builders (for those under 25 who have restored a car).
Mike White Ford is a long-time sponsor of Car d’Lane — after all, when you represent the manufacturer of the ever-popular Mustang, it’s a natural fit, don’t you think? Mike White will personally showcase three of his classic Mustangs and a few other hot items. Be sure to stop by the Mike White Ford display to scope out some great vehicles, collect some fun swag, and maybe score an awesome 2024 Car d’Lane T-shirt designed just for the occasion.
Classic car enthusiasts and restorers from all over the country come to Car d’Lane every year to show off their vehicles and check out what other gearheads are displaying. Not only is the car show great fun for Dads and families, but Car d’Lane is always a great excuse to come to this gorgeous part of Idaho, with its pristine lake, forested mountains, and chic eateries.
